"There is a wonderful feeling when a piece that started out as just a lump of clay comees to life after the final firing. The whole process becomes addicting. You work throught the entire cumbersome process-shaping, trimming, bisque firing, glazing and the high fire. You open the kiln and your vision has come to fruition. And in your heart you fell the desire to start all over, knowing you can do even better the next time." "I'm so proud to be a potter. I feel that potter's are the most supportive, innovative and creative people around. Pottery goes beyond the art. Whether working alone in my studio or getting together for a pit firing or a workshop, I feel constant encouragement and support."
